unescoLocated in Shenzhen, China, UNESCO-ICHEI was approved on November 13, 2015 by the 38th General Conference of UNESCO. It is the 10th Education Sector UNESCO Category II centre in the world and also the 1st Category II centre for higher education in China.

Relying on the advantages of Shenzhen's information and communications technology (ICT) sector and drawing upon China's experience with the massification of its higher education, UNESCO-ICHEI aims to meet the local demand for quality higher education resources and to support Asian and African countries to improve the quality of higher education and promote educational equity.

IIOE is a global collaborative initiative to strengthen the teacher competency for Higher Education Institutes in developing countries and improve access to quality higher education resource. Partnership plays an important role in ensuring accountability and sustainability of IIOE.

The International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) initiative is proposed by the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) with its partner higher education institutions (HEIs) in developing countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and its partner enterprises and HEIs in China.

PU is a public university in the Kilifi County in Kenya, located 60 km north of Mombasa in the resort town of Kilifi, within the larger Kilifi County.

Umma University is the first Islamic institution of higher education in Kenya, offering certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate studies. Umma University was founded in 1997. The main campus is located in Kajiado County. Other branch is located in Thika-Makongeni off Garissa road. View Link
