IIOE has integrated DeepSeek, a leading large language model, into its online learning platform, marking a significant advancement in AI-enhanced education. The upgraded IIOE platform aims to deliver smarter and more efficient learning experiences for its global network of partner universities. Leveraging DeepSeek's advanced language processing capabilities, the AI assistant "DS-I" will offer 24/7 multilingual support through the IIOE platform, serving registered users from over 120 institutions across 41 countries.

The  International Institution Online Education- Kenya National Center (IIOE-KNC) Implementing team is holding a four (4) day Digital Transformative Pedagogy (DTP) facilitators workshop in Naivasha that started on December 19, 2022 and will end on December 22, 2022

The workshop is aimed at training transformative online pedagogy including online course design, effective facilitation and innovative assessment for professors of STEM oriented faculties of the University of Nairobi
